Stroud's chance at MVP is done, but he can be a contender. Jalen Hurts probably going to win it.

Man, after week 3 or 4, a buddy told me he was coming back from Shreveport and i told him to put a $500 bet down for ROY when it was +1400 at the time, but he said he was already halfway back. It still haunts me.

That $500 bet now would win $5. The odds are -10000.

I was lukewarm on the draft pick, I'll admit it. Stroud was crazy good vs UGA but I didn't think he was consistently that good in college. I couldn't be happier to be wrong. SO wrong. I'm still in disbelief on how well this kid is playing, waiting for that other shoe to drop (Houston sports fan PTSD). ;)

Apparently Ryan Day didn’t want him to run because they didn’t feel like the other QBs on the roster were even close to CJ. We also now know that Michigan was cheating and knew all of Ohio State’s play calls on offense. Honestly just a weird evaluation because besides crazy accuracy, he was on a stacked team. I do think his performance in the bowl game against Utah was also extremely impressive which kind of showed me that when given time to prepare CJ puts in the work studying his opponents.

NFL official page loves posting about Coleridge Bernard more than I remember about any other Texan player ever.

Most likely due to the ongoing NFL conspiracy against young black pocket passing QBs.

let wait and see before you declare victory early. How quickly you forget deshaun was just as hyped as cj is now. Means nothing, a single allegation or paid off women can ruin all that in a milisecond

I give it 4 years, if cj continues to play at this level and nothing fluky happens, allegations, character assasination. Then i'll defintely concede. I just cant see it, cj stroud is on passing yardage tear that hasnt been seen by a rookie since marino adjusting for era and is using his platform to advocate for prison reform, wears chains, dreads, and rocks nipsey hussle shirts to postgame pressers. Contrast that to patrick mahomes, dak, hell any other qb and it sticks out. Deshaun watson tried to flex his muscle a bit and got put in his place. Last week the refs during that jags game showed me whats up. The thing thats working in cj's favor is that he has representation that has already dealt with what they think might come with the deshaun saga 2 years ago
