I kinda see this as a maturation process for Alpie.
I've seen multiple times the last 2-3 games where he misses a gimme, usually the shot is short and (imo) because he's rushing it a little.
It's like he thinks he has to quick shoot it to get the shot off but actually has created ample space to take his time.
I think this time next year the game will have slowed down even MORE for him and he won't be rushing those shots when he doesn't have to.

Hard to play defense when Luka and Kyrie just jumps into players and get and-1s

but we got the benefit of it with Harden for years so now we got to suck it up and pray Green and Sengun become foul magnets

Calvin said several things that I am on the same page with....offense runs through Alpy and need more of that in the 4th qtr.,Bari's season has been very consistent and he needs more touches, Tari gets 21 minutes and he gives you 25 mins. worth of game doing everything right,

At least shoot 40 percent from the field. Can't have a point guard take 14 shots a game and not shoot 40 percent as the bare minimum.

Fred actually nearly lost the ball a couple of times, but we were lucky to retain it. so there wasn't a turnover.

He is a solid center now. The final 5 games he is averaging 23.2 ppg, 10.8 rpg. Even he started as 1/6 today still scored 31 points.

The only problem for him is he always played for weak/non-contending teams including tanking-era Houston. He should learn winning habit asap.

This one was there for the taking.
    Just couldnt quite grab it.

Doncic was just too much and we couldnt defend him adequately.

If Lively plays, they likely win at home......that was what I thought before.....

    Lively fouled out even then.

Even though we lost, I love this team so much.
All of them! I even get excited when our bench comes in. When Eason, Green, Tate and Holliday came in tonight they were so much fun to watch. Our bench is so good. I also loved that behind the back assist from Sengun to Jabari. Those two play great together. We could have played better offensively tonight, but I know we are capable of doing just that. We just need to hit the 3's and clean up the turnovers a bit.

What I do love most is our hustle and grit. There isn't a single lazy player on this team. We have a great group of players, and I'm really enjoying watching this team again. On the bright side, my eyes are relieved that I don't have to look at those in season tournament courts any more, now that we're out.

Even though we lost, let me just say it's more enjoyable having a game thread go to 90 pages than the 25-30 we'd hit last year. It's a sure sign of renewal for both the team and the fans.

Now, if we can just stack a few road wins together, we'll be cooking.

Jalen is a good passer in pick and rolls when he wants to show it. Made some nice assists in the first quarter.

It was midnight here so just woke up around the end....

The third normally ends at the 36th .....so by 35th it was 5-7 points lead ........... by 38th minute 0-2 points...probably when the game got tied.

So basically Dallas took lead 9:22 in the 4th, Houston regained it and it was multiple lead change until 6th minute into the 4th.

Houston was only 2 points down in the last 8 seconds.....

You can't beat Kyrie and Doncic in the clutch that's not happening unless you have a superstar on your roster. So this loss doesn't really hurt me. We did our best. Like they have 2 superstars let's be serious now.
