Problem with Jabari is he is very limited in his ball handling and quickness. There are several opportunities for him to score on fast breaks but he doesn’t have the handles or quickness to drive it to the paint. Instead he passes it back out to the perimeter or takes the ball back out himself to reset. On the baseline when the ball gets rotated to him he pumps fake sometimes then tries to drive baseline but again he doesn’t have the quickness or handles otherwise that’s an easy 2 getting the defense off balanced. He reminds me of Ariza. Very limited 3-D player. He could still be a very good 3-D role player but just has a lot of limitations.

 

Ugly as hell.

Would have been nice to win one of those LA games.

I think we just have to tread water during this schedule and then yeah I think we will eat well against lesser teams. We've done nothing but play playoff teams.

 

The league is about star power and maximizing their visibility and Rockets unfortunately bore the brunt of this reality.

 

Not just the handles, his foot work is awkward. I can't pinpoint to it but something is off. It is not natural, slow and not fluid either. He is young though. And shooting+defense combination is already good player anyway.

 

Again, Jalen Green is giving me the blues.

 

Dunno. Offense doesn’t look fully right and relies too much on FVV and Sengun 2 man game. That’s why Rockets are stagnant at times. Need to implement Green more on isos and maybe Jabari on post ups and elbow touches. Hopefully Udoka realizes this.

 

You can rest 5 or 6 days and you play 4 games in 6 days
I keep thinking about this while I watch the game

Yeah he doesn’t have the footwork or dexterity. That’s why he can’t split defenders or drive on them. And terrible Euro steps. But Smith is still developing into a good role player and shooting better than last year.

 

I do not like rhythm players......and players that have to be built up every time they have a menstruation period.

He had a good game so I am not disappointed.

 

Sengun shooting 35% from 3 now after this game is more important than any win or loss for the long term outlook of this franchise.

 

Anyone know why Reggie Bullock can’t shoot now? What happened to the .410 3pt shooter few years back with the Knicks?

 

Sengun got positive +/- even in loss.
I think we need him to play 40 mins.

Especially when he's playing COD...that's Call ON Demand. I bump you, slap you ...whatever I want to do, you guard me it's an automatic foul. Pretty sweet deal.

 

Warriors on a losing streak. After what happened the last 2 games, I aint even bother to watch. I already knew what the nba was gonna do. Should've put money on the game and made some money with the refs lol

 

Isn't it interesting when JG shoots 1/13 his apologists say he was fine at other facets of the game, but when FVV can't shoot people treat him just as a shooter?
