ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Lakers 11/19/2023

We lost cause JG is regressing. Everybody stepped up except him. The fact that Dillon Brooks outplayed him on his own team is a shame.

But when you say that, some gonna call u a hater.
He has to play better, too skilled to just disappear in a game that we needed him, just cause his shot is not falling

 

Losses like this are part of the growing process. It will make us better down the line. We as fans just gotta stick with them through the growing pains. We all knew the schedule was tough to start our season, but we are still right in there competing every night. That is a very positive sign and something we can hold on to. The wins will come again..

 

Dumb gamble by Brooks. We already fouled out AD, just play solid defense and get it to OT where we likely beat them..

Jalen just isn't that guy. He may have random good scoring games but his last 3 games just suck big time. If you look at the last game just by box score, he looks fine but his FG percentage and bad decision making is something that won't miraculously show up during the season. These are the things you fix during the offseason and he had 2 years to work on those.

 

I know they lost the last two games, but I don't think it was for a lack of not being able to close a game. Superstars did what superstars do in the last two games. It sucks, but the team is looking great overall.

We really have a weakness in back up C that I hope we address soon. Would be nice to get a legit spark off the bench as well. Jabari and Jalen are just not playing good enough, so we need a little bit more fire power.

The Rox have to lead by 10 with 30 seconds and then they win, more likely at home.

 

You can blame Silas all you want…at some point it’s his decision to step up or not. Silas is gone. Man up or move on.

 

Would rather have this version of Jalen than the Silas version. I have confidence that he’ll turn it around, it’s been rough these last two games but he has the right team and staff around him to excel

 

Frustrating, but I feel like we are on the cusp...

So proud of this team. Even though back 2 back L's, the development is something to be very proud of.

 

You can tell how good this team can be if Jalen improves his finish at the rim. Dude even misses free throws.

When I saw Brooks switch to Lebron before the inbounds pass, I knew defensive hero ball was coming. Gambled and lost! Left an open lane for Lebron to drive to the basket. Not smart!

 

we played awful and still barely lost over brooks stupid ass play. i wouldnt be so mad at this loss if it wasn't so winnable. but im pissed.

 

Sengun had a good numbers game, but very dumb turnovers. He also left too much time on the clock on that last score. Brooks definitely shouldn't have gambled
