Omg I hope Stone is cooking something like this. I'm ok with giving away the Nets pick instead of the 2025 pick if that would get it done. Rox don't need low lotto level talents esp since 2024 class is rumored to suck.
Memphis have some solid bigs off the bench and would also be interested in Luke Kennard. Maybe they become sellers before Ja returns
yeah this trade doesn’t make much sense. You’re wasting assets that could be added to get an all-star player. we have no hole at guard or wing. It’s cheap center or all-star level player imho
I like picking up Drummond if it's just Dipo's contract and a second rounder or something We don't need Caruso. The more I think about it the more I hope Stone makes a play for JJJ. I think there's a high chance the Grizz just don't listen to any offers and continue to build around him and Morant, but damn, he would be so perfect next to Sengun.
My post was for humor. Duren though has a higher ft and fg % than Sengun though. Unless you're talking about the 25% from 3 I guess for Sengun.
I love Caruso but that's sort of a player you chase in FA not give away draft assets. Right now I'm content with staying put. I don't think we need to add anything at the moment.
My issue with JJJ is that he is a VERY underwhelming rebounder. He’s never even cracked 7rpg in his career. I’m ok with seeing how Bari does with a full year of real coaching before bringing in someone to replace him.
It's because he spends so much time on the weak side trying to block shots. It's actually one of the reasons him and Alpi are a good fit together. Sengun is a pretty good rebounder who is just so-so at shotblocking.
Udoka's philosophy seems to be don't do stupid stuff that gets one out of position on defense (e.g., reckless offensive rebounding, reckless passing, not getting back on defense, not boxing out). Udoka has basically kept FVV and Brooks on court with Sengun to ensure defenders are rotating well/playing exactly where they need to be with Sengun to take advantage of Sengun being a smart defender and to keep Sengun from being isolated. JJJ's got knack for shotblocking and would defitely help in the short term. I'm just not sure his reckless nature would work as seemlessly with Sengun as most do. If Jabari ever meets the expectation that he would grow into, I think the expected Jabari is a more ideal PF next to Sengun.
Wonder if the Rockets brass would consider Jabari-Cam-two 1sts for Zion. The vibes are so good right now that I wouldn't do it. But. FVV-Jalen-Brooks-Zion-Alpy is ****ing crazy.
Would giving up the Brooklyn pick this year for Hyland and Moussa be crazy? Brooklyn keeps winning too.
I don't trust Zion. At the end of the day the lack of love for playing the actual game is a severe hindrance to a long career and Zion has that problem and Jabari doesn't. Too risky even fi the natural talent is superior. Could tank the core chemistry and rebuilding process.
