You absolutely were not trolling. Own it man, it’s such a weak look after going after one of the Rockets best young players for so long.
Next time, don't get triggered and oversensitive when Silas is criticized on the Alperen Sengun thread, and you are good to go.
You asking for a hug? That’s the first step, accepting that you were wrong is important in your growth as a person
Really? Sengun is not ever going to anchor a defense, however, his defense is adequate. He has been boxing out a lot this season as well (in fact he almost leads the league in box outs). He may not get all the rebounds, but he sure as hell is preventing other rebounders from getting them and letting his teammates pick these up. So no, they are not legitimate anymore. We aren't asking Sengun to be an all world defender, that's just not realistic, but he has been an average defender this season, in fact above average in many games, and I don't see why the hell not that would continue.
Imagine arguing with sengun doubters online for hours even for days in 2023 while you can straight up insult their intelligence and move on.
People should stop calling his one-legged shot Dirk Fadeaway. Dirk was leaping into the air Sengun's foot doesn't move an inch. Technically it's not even a jump shot.
Good call. I'd quit interacting with the dumb list long time ago but I got triggered and fell to the trap. Back to sanity.
Nobody has really challenged it yet. Curious to see how refs call it when a defender goes for the contest and makes contact with his leg. Is it a kickout? Or has he established it as a natural shot motion now?
Appreciate it. Takes a bigger man to simply say "I was wrong". Even I had to admit it sometimes (my wife claims I never did in my life, but of course...she's wrong .) I'm wondering: Do you feel that he has "broken through" and that his performance will be sustainable and that he can/will be the answer for us at starting C for years to come? Or do you think your opinion might change again after a bad game or two?
What Silas did or didnt do, what priorities were handed to him by the FO, and on and on can be debated indefinitely without resolution. Yes. Lets move on.
