In this current RB market you can get pro bowler for a Whataburger Double Meat combo meal.

The passing game opens up the run. IDK if Singleton or Pierce are the answer but we can always draft one in the 2-3rd rounds

Would have loved Jonathon Brooks. He just tore his ACL, though.

    Fun Fact

Stroud is on pace to break the rookie QB passing record set by Andrew Luck in 2012 with 4,374 yards.

Stroud will break the record with 4,460 YDS if he keeps averaging his season 262 YDS per game in the next 7 games. He passed for 826 yards the past two games.

Even better is that Luck threw 18 INT that year!

True, but did you factor in that Luck played in a then standard 16 game season, whereas CJ is playing in the current 17 games per season? Does the number of games play into passing yardage total records, rookie or otherwise? Maybe yards per game, per season is more accurate. Just looked it up, Luck averaged 273.4 yards per game his rookie season.

I didn't think about that. He might still break it in 16 games though. Either way, he won't have anywhere near 18 interceptions. That's a big difference.

When I looked this up, it just had the total yardage listed along with the number of games played. Maybe not fair, but what you said is correct "records wise". Doesn't matter either way as you noted, CJ is just amazing.

Listening to Fox Sports radio online and Sirius nfl radio. They're loving Stroud's 2nd straight winning drive and what the Texans are doing.

(after almost handing the game over to the Bengals)

cj stroud is gonna start getting the mahomes treatment with 2 high safety every down because of how much he is killing teams deep. Defenses are gonna start to test his patience to take the underneath stuff so as great as cj has been, he is gonna have to get his completion percentage up a tad higher so he will have less 3 and outs going forward

BTW, I dont think Woods stepped out of bounds. You can see where Woods was from the rubber pellets flying.

I went by the TV replay also.

Watch as he is close to the out of the endzone line and where the pellets fly from.

We won't need to spend much money on WRs.

Pay Stroud and an o line so he stays upright. Then spend the rest in building an elite d with demeco
