Reggie Bullock is washed. The second Whitmore starts showing anything we need Bullock’s ass glued to the bench. Thanks for signing with us and all but he is purely injury insurance.
Between Bullock being straight garbage and Amen not quite ready to handle point guard duties yet (may be better to start off easing him in as a playmaking wing), we may need Aaron Holiday in the rotation at the beginning of the season.
Has Bullock scored a point yet? I can‘t remember one time he scored but that can’t be right… right? edit: he had one three against the pelicans! Don‘t remember that one at all
Preseason… Anyone jumping to any conclusions must have not been around for Kelvin Cato. Preseason is beyond meaningless. Let’s see who plays when the lights turn on.
Lol......Spurs were the tough matchup that I expected they were no matter if preseason or not. Better than the listless Zion brigade or the B Team of the Pacers.
I told yall Bullock was washed but this is how you know Ime is not playing around - Bullock turned down contending teams and signed the minimum with one of the worst teams in the league last year, presumably because he believed in the new coaching staff and new culture. Vast majority of coaches would feel grateful and give him a longer leash for a few months, a least a few weeks. Instead, Ime sees him in training camp and pulls him after two games instead of letting him hurt the team more on the court. Ime is an absolute cold blooded savage.
Holiday is solid. Hot take: he's currently better than Amen and that injury was an actual upgrade to the team. Obviously we will still have to play Amen when he's back because eventually he will be much better than Holiday.
Wonder if Capela is available? Maybe use Bullock, Oladipo (both expiring) and a pick? We seem to need blocking and rebounding help. Don't know if he cuts too much into minutes for Sengun or Smith Jr though.
Holiday is better defensively than I realized. Lot of dog in him. Good shooter too. I wouldn't mind seeing some lineups where Holiday and Amen share the floor, we need shooting off the bench.
This is the thing with Stone he makes the big things but whiffs on small things and CF loves making mountains out of molehills. For example hitting on Jalen and Sengun but whiffing on Garuba and Josh Christopher. Hitting on Tari and Jabari but whiffing on Tyty. Now he hit on FVV and Brooks but whiffed on Bollocks and maybe Landale. Both are currently stinking up the joint, I wish we had Tyus Jones and Naz Reid instead. You just gotta take the bad with the good Stone won't hit 100% but he will get the most important things right.
Reggie Bullock despite his incredibly rough start is now going to finish the season as our most efficient rotation player. I've really liked his impact / on-court presence to finish the season and would be pretty happy if we could bring him back next year. https://www.nba.com/stats/players/advanced?CF=MIN*G*5&TeamID=1610612745&dir=A&sort=TS_PCT
Bullock is finally earning his lunch money. He was brought in for his 3pt shooting. Now he is hitting his shots and Udoka is trusting him more.
