That wasn't just one of the best performances I've seen from a rookie, or even in the Texan's history. It was one of the best performances I've ever seen in NFL history.
There aren’t too many more superlatives you can say about CJ that haven’t been said. I remember the collective feeling here when freakman had his game against Seattle, but even then this game blows that game out of the water. CJ looked like the best QB in the NFL yesterday. The game had all the makings of that Seattle game, looked like we had done everything to win but defense couldn’t hold up. Then Tampa used that TO and left :46 on the clock. I was hopeful but not optimistic at all. The 1st throw to Tank was one of his best throws of the year. The 2 crazy things about this game. One, that final drive, CJ was in full, total control. He knew he was going to win, not in a cocky way, in a way full of confidence and belief. Two, he missed some throws in this game that would’ve made his stat line even better. I will remind that I wanted Bryce and didn’t believe in CJ. I was all the way wrong, and will happily admit it.
Pfft let's see Stroud do that against the Bengals. Then I'll put him into the MVP conversation...tho he is playing at that level at this moment, but he's not really in that race.
there are like 6 positions id rather address before WR. WR might be the position we have the most depth at.
sure but Olave on this team? he'd put up 2000 yards. if CJ had a true bonafide #1 just imagine. the current crop of WR he has are very good but someone like Olave would be even better. I think it is CJ making the current WR core look as good as they are (sans jukebox Tank Dell)
But it's all average depth at a position where one gamebreaker makes a huge difference. IOL, IDL, DB, WR, TE, LB, RB...let's get some talent next offseason
A friend of mine, cowboys fan was like. Wait till next year till they figure him out, he’s going to be average. Okay!!!! lol. You got it or you don’t. These last moment plays…. Jordan Kobe Brady moments, you just don’t fukin go by the playbook anymore, who has it? Stroud does.
