I don't disagree, but it doesn't make his era here any less successful.

I agree. I think it's interesting that the people feel like Harden gonna ruin the Clippers
    I'm like.. . . WHAT CLIPPERS??
    A Team with 1 and a Half Super Stars. . . I say 1 and a half because Westbrook is 1/2 a star
and PG13 and Kawhi only play Half Seasons

If the Clippers only make it to the second round . . . .that is basically where I had them Pre-Harden
    Anything beyond that is gravy

Huh? The stinch of the Harden/Morey era still lingers here. Harden AND Morey are cancers not only for their respective teams, but for the whole nba. Winning takes a backseat to integrity & morals

Hmm, I had a lot of fun in their era. I went through the post Hakeem years, the Tmac/Yao era, the Hayes/Martin/Scold/Lowry era, Harden era and the KPJ era. Harden era was fun as hell. I guess you hated always being in the conversation and having a chance.

honestly... struck me as the refs were trying to 'keep it competitive' - which i think is most of the questionable calls in the league... sure u get the occasional Kings/Lakers agenda driven officiating... but i think for the most part they just try to keep game competitive - and then let the better team pull away at the end...
and unfortunately, the bottom completely fell out for us... we became neurotic basket cases and had nothing down the stretch...
The whole experience disgusted me... mostly because we just kept heaving like morons instead of trying to finish at the rim.
It was all the epitome of poor planning... all the eggs in the 3 ball basket, no inside presence, no stones to take it to the rim...
just fool's gold top to bottom...

Harden is his own worst enemy with the lack of self awareness, his ego and owning up to his role in everything. I believe Embiid, there is no way Harden was on a leash. His perspective is clouded and he’s still so immature.

James looks like he's in the best shape he's been in a while.

That combined with it being a true contract year, I think we're gonna see him play at a high level this season

No I hated watching our star player completely throw games. It was almost as if he was paid to quit.

I appreciate watching a team that works hard, competes every night & gives its all to win. Watching someone quit isn't fun to me

Any forecast on the season after that though?

Will he play fat again, or will he be able to come up with drama season 4 to meet popular demand?

    The Knicks, yes. :D:eek:

On the real, that Clippers lineup would have been amazing ... in 2015.

I agree. All this lovable loser talk is complete BS.
I remember the post at that time .. . no one was enjoying it
"Harden is a quitter but TMAC is my all time fav!!!"
    man GTFOH with that crap.
Those that prefer the Bob Sura lead Rockets versus the Harden Lead Rockets . . . I seriously wonder if they actually
    want championships

Not to mention that harden went 7 games against the greatest team in sports history. The list of other players to have a competitive series against them? That list would have zero names on it, including lebron

That's a bit exaggerated, isn't it. LeBron pretty much singlehandedly beat the prime Warriors before Durant joined them. LeBron probably wouldn't be able to beat the Durant Warriors, but you telling me he wouldn't be competitive with Harden's supporting cast?

he had some pretty good teams in those finals and was never remotely competitive, no.
