Ok. Harden grew his beard but he had that same Beard at least for the last 14 years. Westbrook looks the same the last 18 years. He grew minimum of hair on his head. Paul George also looks the same.
At least Jimmy's got a sense of humor though Kawhi's gotta be the most boring superstar ever. As a fellow boring person I sympathize, but still.
I am not even trying to contest the idea ...but as with some comedians who are pretty somber in ther private life. He can be different in his private life. I think Kobe said Kawhi was the other guy who was flying helicopter....choppa style. It is a sensitive subject.
Thanks, I heard it yesterday, the way I understand it's a consoidation for the THunder who have too many firsts to roster so they lose a 1st, on net, but gain a 27 swap and "best 2 of" Houston, LAC, OKC" in 26. while Philly gets to keep "worst of"
If it was 2017, this quad grouping of Kawhi / PG / Harden / Westbrook would be a dynasty in the making. Unfortunately, it's 2023.
Their only real issue (besides health) is help upfront They need BIGS! Undersized PJ Tucker ain't gonna cut it They need HEIGHT and .. . while is said it in jest. . . . They should consider Dwight Howard (unless his legal issues are too much) Fricking DeAndre Jordan is backing up Joker. . . . Dwight is better than him at this point They might wanna take a Flyer on Boogie Cousins They might have to piece together a front court of journeymen that is good for 15 minutes each Rocket River
James Harden has only alluded to what caused the irreconcilable differences between them, but like so many divorces, the problems began over money. According to league sources, Harden and his camp became convinced Morey only intended to offer him a two-year deal, with a team option on the second season, if he declined his $35.6 million player option and became a free agent at the end of June — essentially, turning Harden into a year-to-year player. Yeah so this was basically Harden refusing to come to grasp with his value. If Morey was only planning to offer him 2 years then as a free agent last Summer he then could have just went out and got another team to pay him what he thinks he’s worth. There’s 29 other teams. You are a free agent. I think had Harden went into free agency right after the final sixers loss promoting himself as willing to entertain all offers and willing to be a veteran leader etc. I do think he would have had more suitors than just the Rockets and while starting offers would have been lower, he would have a potential bidding war which got him to a decent long term deal. But instead he opted in way too late after free agency had come and gone. He then pouted AFTER all the teams had used their cap or made plans at least for the roster they got, and now he’s here banking on a gamble with the clippers, and he’ll be a year older next summer.
So, Harden is going to get along with PG and Kawhi? I mean, for more than 15-20 games? So many things in life confuse me.
I'm 100% sure that if James Harden ever wins a championship, it will be in a washed up veteran off of the bench role. And that makes me sad. He was such an incredible player with us. I just don't know if his priorities were ever right. It's weird that I'm starting to think of a guy who has probably made well over a half a billion dollars as a cautionary tale, but here we are.
