No doubt, not every rebuild would bear fruits.....if you don't think 2nd round appearances qualify as success.
Clippers - the land of misfit & broken toys... still hoping harden ends up living under a bridge... freakin narcissistic troll...
I believe Russ and James see things end between them just like before. I believe the Clippers fate will be dictated as before as well.
Home can be where the heart is - but they aren't winning any titles with a bunch of broken down players. They just need to add Melo to the team and see what that old ass alcoholic Ty Lawson is up to.
RoCo was in the dog house last year by Lue. For some reason Lue didn't like him (for better or worse). Batum is also old. The players they shed weren't necessary big loss even if people aren't high on PJ. Clippers gets a point guard which is what they need. Kawahi doesn't have to play PF, as Russ can come off the bench. If they want to go super small and switchy they still can. Lue is tingling with basketball possibilities right now. Clipper didn't give up much. New arena is coming, those names will fill the seats. They can later decide which of their big stars to extend down the road. With three guys there, LAC might even be able to negotiate the price down.
Last time Harden went out of his way to accommodate Westbrook - I don't think he will do that this time. Harden has many flaws, but he literally took a back seat to Westbrook to keep the harmony, and at that time Harden was pushing like 37 points a game.
it’s legitimately good right now tho excluding Russ none of Harden, PG, or Kawhi are washed or on their last legs
With 38 year old Tucker and Plumlee off the bench. Hard to say how that will stack up, but it seems like a weakness. One of the slowest front courts in the NBA. I could see this team getting murdered in fast paced games.
