I chose Over but I do not mind losing at all....if that means taking one for the team.

About 32 to wins, and possibly losing pick to OKC.

They will win games, I am sure of that.

I just do not like that the veterans are playing much better than the young players.

Lowering to 0-82 here. Negative wins not being an option I’m not sure where I go from here

Growth. That's it. Playoffs are near impossible. I just want to see the prospects get better.

Keeping that top 4 protected pick is the only realistic hope.

More like 10 if you go back a week or two.

    Hilarious

We are starting to deduct from next season

I thought San Antonio was beneath us....I'm wondering if we can beat the Wizards? Or the Generals?

This. An 8-12 win improvement was always the realistic outcome.

40+ wins, fighting for playoff/play-in spots is just pie in the sky optimism.

We are still super young and the vets we brought in just aren’t the kinda guys who can guarantee you X amount of wins.

1/41 of a season has gone by and it's obvious we suck again and all this angst is appropriate, right?

Well, we do suck, but I don't think we'll string together double-digit losing streaks and suck as hard as last year. I do think we will see notable improvement in the second half of the season. But if I'm wrong and we start out 2-30 or somesuch, we should blow it all up, bring in a new GM, and start over.

Suck the first month or two of the season

Be mediocre/.500ish the rest of it

End up just outside the play-in by a game or three

Imagine we drafted all these young players recently and they have not been coached on how to play winning NBA basketball nor have they had good mentors nor have they been part of a lot of wins. ****, imagine they were all in the G League the past 2 years.

For the vets expect them to be what they were last season. Some improved efficiency from FVV/Brooks is likely since that was cited during the signing.

As far as games, expect it to be a disaster in Game 1. Expect them to very gradually improve until they are instinctive with the playbook by game 30ish. We might pick up 15 wins by midway through the season. Things will still not look good and if you're a pessimist, you will still feel like we pissed away 2-3 years for players who can't carry you to a championship.

In the second half of the season, expect them to win more than half their games. Expect there to be a lot of public attention for our team, how well they play and the budding stars on the roster. Basically by end of season, expect people to be talking about us like they were talking about the Thunder last year.

My expectation for this season is that there will be a lot of "He's a bust!" "Trade him!" moaning and groaning on Clutchfans. :D

Literally non stop. Every good game someone has will be a declaration of greatness and and every bad game a declaration of bust. There must be a lot of fairweather fans here right now, in a lifetime of sports fandom I've never seen a fanbase so thinned skinned and over emotional.
