I am afraid Alperen Sengun will play off the bench once the Rockets Draft a Tall 7 Foot Center with Shot Blocking Skills.

Impressed by Brooks on the defensive end. And he wasn’t inefficient on the other end. Didn’t try to do too much. Good with that

VanVleet makes everything look so easy

haha actually know Rashard and yes he was good at 14. Dude had a filas deal at 16, riding in an Escalade senior year.

im giving everyone time to be honest.. you expect these dudes to be great day one in a real system..

everyone is getting better and better. its coming.

ime going to sengun in winning time is all i need to know how ime sees the game.

bari's defense is def not where i need it to be though.

People didn't watch Vassell play. They think he's a bum. He's good

Aside from two really bad mid-range shots, which he has zero business taking ever, I was impressed with Brooks.

Vassell made the leap in year 4 what everyone expected Green to make in year 3.

Jabari was tragic - didn’t hit his open shots . He did hustle , he usually hustles . Got to continue getting stronger and more decisive

green was average and then very unnoticeable - got hot early on . Went into chuck mode, then when we started running it though sengun and FVV (and having good success) , he really added nothing . He made some simple swing passes on offense , but I give him a B for offense . The problem was he started getting targeted on defense
    And still looks lost .

Sengun was OK. But he has the production to believe he can get better .
    - looked solid on offense , again I give a B , maybe B+ . He look OK on D , but needs more experience and timing since he isn’t the greatest defensive athlete . Got frustrated a few times .

brooks played like I expected and FVV had a good game .

wanted to see more Tate . Tari coming back will be nice .

amen looked poor . Still , second game as a pro gets you some slack .

why did Reggie bullock play ?

had tate come in for green the last couple of minutes , the offense would have been fine and we would have been in a better position to get stops .

it’s the second game of the year , but we’ve lost to 2 teams supposedly in our tier .

I can see us getting better , but every team is getting tighter right now .

green and sengun really might not be the best pairing since , if you aren’t using them as alphas on offense they are not strong defenders . I understand the positional argument for prioritizing green , but to me he should be the one to pick up his defense .

if you are a top athlete , guys should not be blowing by you and you need to take some pride in being able to stop people .

FVV was our best player tonight , sengun number two , and green and brooks #3

Jabari played too much but I understand that tate is a bit too small in this PF and C matchup , still Jabari got cooked .

he’s got the dawg , but he’s still a puppy . Hopefully he grows up soon .

it’s early in the season and IME is trying out combinations, but I will be pissed if Tate doesn’t start getting more PT . I’d
Give him the chance to fail with good players around him vs giving the young guys top crack .

so we agree Bari isn’t a defensive stud.

yes the offense looks old Rudy t style now

but you cannot deny the **** Jabari does, he just doesn’t have one skill that you’re like wow that’s a 3rd pick.

he’s basically a second rounder we have to turn into thaddeus young at best. That’s the problem.

Kobe's missed shot records could be in danger.

Yeah, it was the play of Brooks, FVV, and Alpi that kept us in the game and ahead for some of the game. FVV and Brooks were solid for much of the game. They had Brooks on Wemby trying to slow him down, but giving up nearly a foot, I don't know how much he can do. This team needs some mobile beef with height to play against the Wembys of the world.

My concern with Jabari so far is his shortcomings are things that aren’t really things about fitting into a new system. Keep your man in front of you. Lateral speed. Knock down the open shot. I like the guy honestly, but man…

This loss is 1000% on Jabari Smith.

He seems having the basketball IQ of
