[Official] Victor Wembanyama as a Spurs thread

B/R missed an artistic opportunity to have Jokic on a horse, galloping away from Slenderman.

 

Vassell seems like a player in the mold of Bradley Beal. Pretty good if he pans out like that.

 

I'm so sad watching Wembymania in San Antonio while the Rockets tank looks like a Russian T-72 after a Ukrainian drone strike.

 

Man the Spurs sucked for one year and they already ahead of us in one bad year.

 

I’m not watching but does Wemby just not like to shoot? He’s had 4 attempts since 1st quarter.

 

He's been in foul trouble throughout the game.

Also, there doesn't seem to be a lot of plays that involve Wemby. He kinda just receives a pass on the elbow, passes it to a teammate and then stands near the perimeter while the rest of the offense is going.

It's the first game of the season, but it's baffling how little he's involved.

 

Of course this all sets the stage for him to go ape **** on us this Friday. Lol.

 

Also seems like his Teammates are not passing him the ball sometimes.

 

Wemby will be a super star by next season

 

Heartbreaker by Kyrie, dagger by Luka.

Spurs just don't have that clutch killer yet.

 

They definitely don't wait for Wemby to finish fighting for position before passing to the other side of the court. Wemby takes himself out of plays, but his teammates definitely take him out of plays too.

 

Starting to feel like those guys are realizing that they might not be in the NBA for long once they finishing rebuilding and put the right guys around Wemby, they're trying to prove to other GMs that they can play .
