And Bochy's teams come up big EVERY TIME (except once in 2016) in October, and Dusty's teams, aside from the year he was gifted a 106 win juggernaught against an 87 win mediocrity, find ways to choke in new and innovative ways.

    Don't worry about it.

People hate us because we keep winning. Has nothing to do with the 'scandal'. Every team that wins consistently gets hate, it means your team is doing something right.

No one hates on irrelevant teams that never do anything.

Well. It has been a hell of a run. Hopefully we have a few more years of “window”. Hopefully some design engineer can figure out the boogy man in the batters eye that has our guys screwed up and can fix it. 7 LCS. 4 trips to the dance and 2 rings. There are MANY fans who would gladly trade places with us. I’m not trading with them. It has been a ride and it still has a few turns I would think.

And you know what. To hell with the world baseball classic. It did nothing but hurt us this year.

We’ve been up for 7 years. We all as fans have to be here for our team when we are down too. Yes Dusty is a dummy, but I have higher hopes for our next manager that will put out players in place to succeed. Until next season, I’ll see y’all in the Texans forum.

    Fudge nut cookies!

Are the Rangers going to be favored to win the WS? I hope not.

I usually turn it off right after the final out.
    Not this time.
I didn't want to see close ups of sad Astros players and fans.

You left out being division winners, again...and in the ALCS, you know, for the 7th straight year. 2000 was a miserable season....coming off of 3 straight playoff seasons and the new stadium. Pretty much everything from 2006 until the 2015 season happend was miserable. This was simply difficult but still one of the last 4 standing.

As a reminder, we've never seen a run like this from any Houston team ever at any time...ever.

It's gonna be fun. Seeing how the team reinforces this off season and then gun for Texas next year.

1997 WCF against Utah stings less because of 1994 and '95, but it still sucks.

Winning the division and losing to a team you beat out to do so, especially by losing every home game you fought for, only adds to the humilation. Ask Oakland or Atlanta how their division titles from 2020 and 22-23 look.

We won’t lose next season with him as our catcher. Peña needs to do better too and Tucker needs a hug.
