Astros are winning tomorrow. Vet franchise v inexperienced franchise. Battle tested starter v injury riddled starter. Scherzer starting is likely the best possible situation for us, as he is NOT himself right now, and that allows the Astros to get into that leaky Ranger bullpen early.

    We got this!

I'm glad Adolis got his revenge today. Better than tomorrow.

I'm glad Abreu got in to face him in game 6. Better than game 7, when it all matters.

I'm glad Singleton failed today. More likely that he won't be called upon in game 7, when it all matters.

I'm glad Pressly wasn't pressed into action. He'll be rested for tomorrow.

I'm hoping...HOPING...Chaz gets his opportunity tomorrow. He's meant for the big stage.

This year is going to be alright. The Stros are ready for this kind of firefight. Bring it on!!

Yordan and Altuve doesn't have a problem hitting at home. You know who else doesn't have a problem hitting at home? Yainer. he has the most homerun at minute maid this year and he doesn't even play full time!

Everybody else needs to figure it out.

Yainers biggest issue, imo, is lack of consistent ABs and that won't be solved this season. It's a shame. He's Allstar level and we could use that. But, it is what it is. Sit him down, roll with Moldy, and hope the rest of the lineup renders the 9 spot irrelevant for the most part.

Bryan Abreu Suspension begin Opening Games Next Season Games 1 and 2.

After the Rangers win Game 7.

Astros Players are on Fumes, Ran out of Gas.

Jose Altuve was lucky, the Astros went overboard in the celebration, that was last high point.

I remember Bill Russell of the Celtics say why the other team lost and you guys won. Bill said "They Celebrated".

Astros were 7 games up at home (33-26) until they got swept by Seattle in mid-August. Since then they are 7-20 (including playoffs).

The six games they won in the regular season they scored (11,11,7,12, 6 and 2 runs) and 6 runs vs the Twins in the playoffs. Of their 20 loses they scored 6 runs only twice.

Something flipped around that time, who knows what it was, but I think the Astros will score early tomorrow against Scherzer and win.

Astros record at home in their last:
    50 games = 20-30
    40 games = 15-25
    30 games = 9-21
    20 games = 5-15
    10 games = 2-8
    Something has to give tomorrow.

The two players that have hit well at home all year are Chas and Diaz, you are right about the rest of the team. Chas and Diaz have smoked the ball at MMP all year though

If they aren't going to hit at home, then they need guys who will take walks.

Today sets up decently for a win -- but the Astros need to do it.

Have you seen the post on this board? They don’t believe and it is all Dusty and Maldy’s fault. The Astros had 6 hits Game 6. All 6 were by 3 players. You can’t win like that.

Going with Singleton over Chaz or Diaz and going with Montero in the 9th is peak Dusty sabotage.

Yanier did have a 900 OPS on the year against Right handed pitchers.....You compare that to Singleton's 500 OPS.

At least he got his left on right matchup out of the way...
