    The question is why is it only for the Astros ??? There has to be something that’s holding the WHOLE team back at home! It’s not one player, not two…. The whole Damon team underperforms at home. You’re playing at your own turf with fans cheering you so something is up with these guys.

    I agree but he may have to come in late in the game. I’m expecting 4-5 out of Javier. Javier-France-Brown-Maton-Neris-Pressley. However, they’ve seen neris a lot and he’s showing kinks

    They've made the ALCS for 7 years. Not the world series. And would be among the favorites to win again next year. Why would this specific loss be the end of a dynasty?

    That's what someone said, I believe Fox (Sports 1). Johnny has probably won some deciding Game 5's but I'm not sure about Game 7. I'd have to look it up.

    ETA: I looked it up and his record is 2-7 in deciding games, including 0-3 in Game 7. He never faced one in Cincinnati or Washington.

    Dusty's Game 7 history:

    2002: SF loses to Anaheim in World Series
    2003: CHI Cubs loses to Florida (Miami) in NLCS
    2020: HOU loses to Tampa Bay in ALCS

    He lost game 7 vs Angels in 2002
    He lost vs Marlins when he was with the Cubs
    He lost in 2020 witH Astros vs Rays

    I don't think he has been in any others so that sounds right.

    Another mind blowing number the Astros scored 103 more runs on the road than at home this year.
    This home disadvantage is mind blowing because throughout their history even in bad years the Astros were always decent at home.
