That would be nice, except the first game he could be suspended from is ALCS game 7. Otherwise it will be games 1 & 2 of the WS.

Yes. But if he appeals, I suspect the meeting won't be until Monday or even Tuesday. Since there is no factual evidence the pitch was intensional and they only have the opinion (gut feeling) of the Umps, hopefully it's dropped down to only one game or less.

The league knew what they were doing when they said 2 games. If it was only one then I could see him taking today off to get it over with and be ready for a game #7 or World Series if that were the case, but he has to appeal two games in the post season. I believe it will be dropped to no more than 1 which would be served game #1 of the WS.
