    I know I am in the minority but I have the Spurs being better than the Rockets in 2023-2024…… so this game really interests me.

    I want to see how the Rockets compete against the sheer freakish size/length/athleticism of Wemby and Sochan.

    The Spurs have their two high end freaks with Wemby and Sochan and also will run out Vassell and Johnson as young scorers that have come into their own…. Tre Jones handles the point for now and they have high value vets like McDermott, Collins, Graham and Cedi O.

    The Spurs can really surprise people if Wemby stays healthy and Sochan improves.

    Wemby hasn't even seen real defenses yet, pair that with the fact that he is going to be on everyone's radar for a poster.... I know for sure Green and Cam gonna go for it tomorrow...

    Ime n pop really knows each other well. they can easily figures out wht cards their counterpart are holding, wht their counterpart gonna emphasize (to their players) in first matchup, that's why last game both didn't throw all they got on to the table, gear up for a showdown in their second:
    pop rested wemby n vassel, while ime nailing jG n tari on the bench to study n read pop's lineup.
    imho, ime got limited options, no matter its jG's uber shooting beyond the arc or tari's nice finish under the rim, all these could hardly offset wemby's impact, a geometrical game changer.
    (edit: my gut feeling, the only way to contain wemby is to put different defenders on him especially those stout defensive specialists say thiiker, hayes or even Demon, try to wear him out as early as possible, just like wht they did to yao)

    For sure he is going to be a target - seeing how he responds will be a huge part of the future landscape for the Spurs and Rockets over the next 15 years.
