    Nah we good.

Pels looked bad because of the defensive pressure, lots of legit TOs too but if you spent a quarter getting ripped and punked then you start playing jittery and you get taken off your game.

One thing overlooked is the unselfishness. These players are passing up layups to give to teammates behind them.

I never said Stone planned to tank I said he was keeping his options open. Rockets were in flux at the time I don't know what you meant by Stone didn't know Harden wanted out, Harden already told WB he was leaving the moment they lost in the playoffs and WB demanded a trade almost immediately.

Sure Harden leaving wasn't "confirmed", but like I said the Rockets were in flux and Stone was hedging. You don't know what will happen so you keep your options open. Case in point in the Harden trade Rockets both got Oladipo and also sold Levert and Allen for picks. If they weren't tanking why get rid of solid SG and C to complement Dipo? If they were tanking why get Dipo? He should have been shipped for more picks.

You don't know what will happen so you make moves to remain flexible. It's part of the reason Stone is a good GM.

If we are giving more minutes to Tate than Cam this year this team is a failure.

He had Westbrook and Harden he hired Silas for a contender. Im sorry its just factually incorrect to say he didn't. You can keep your options open with a better coach so that makes no sense. Stone is not perfect he has made a lot of mistake and he has made some good decisions too. Silas was a mistake that worked because they ended up having to tank. But if Harden had liked the coach he may have stayed so I still think overall it was a mistake.

A better coach wouldn't be ok with tanking. You think Ime would be OK with Stone telling him to purposely lose games?

Oh yes hiring a contender coach means a rookie coach lol. Tilman spends for most expensive coaches they got MDA before Silas and got Ime after Silas. Why go budget Silas for a contender? Lol.

Actions speak louder than words a lot of things Stone does don't have to be shared with general public that's how The Process got destroyed.

So your take is that Stone hired a bad coach just in case we sucked instead of hiring a good coach to help us win with two superstars? really? Please stop, youre starting to sound like DD defending the KPJ decision lol

Stone got promoted as GM after Morey and a couple of Front Office left. MDA also got replaced so with the old FO and coaching staff replaced you think Rox are confident they will have contenders? You think they were dreaming championship when they just overhauled the entire front office? Who hires a rookie HC and expect a championship?

Silas was hired Oct, Nov there were already media reports about Harden and WB wanting out.

You think media would know Harden and WB have concerns but the front office don't know? Lol.

Obviously Stone thought Silas would do a good job, but in case the team sucked getting Silas to tank is easier than someone like Van Gundy. You think Van Gundy would be ok playing Nix 30 mins a night? It's part of keeping your options open and staying flexible.

The Silas hiring is a big reason why Harden left. He wanted a real coach. Youre basically rewriting history. Stone wasnt even trying to tank after Harden was traded. HE TRIED TO KEEP OLADIPO. He thought Wood, Wall and Oladipo would be a great team. The tank didnt start until after they traded Oladipo. https://nypost.com/2020/12/10/james-harden-wants-trade-because-of-rockets-stephen-silas-hire/

Huge defensive game, so much movement, and the result was 35+ TOs for NO

Just loved the energy thru all 4 quarters. Different mentality

Yes and that's part of keeping options open. Dipo played well when healthy for the Rockets and worth his contract.

Why they trade Jarett Allen for picks if they were committed to Oladipo and had no intentions of tanking? You think Oladipo and Wood don't need a defensive presence in the paint?
