So I heard today from McTaggert that Alvarez was too cold so he didn’t want to get soaked and Altuve doesn’t take part because he’s not a fan of cigar smoke so who knows but Tucker has his reasons……
You got that right. I’m still slamming my hand in a car door because I turned down a ticket lottery in 1994 after the rockets lost the first two AT HOME to Phoenix. I had a chance to go to the NBA finals in Houston and blew it because I thought after dropping the first two at home they were done. Rox haven’t sniffed it since. I will forever be grateful to a friend of mine who gave me game 6 tickets to see the Astros win number 2 last year. I got to enjoy the game with my 8 year old son. As he gets older he will appreciate what he got to witness. Not taking this run for granted because nothing lasts forever. So soak it in, soak it in.
Took my 17 year old son to game #2 for the 2017 World Series at Dodger Stadium. Something he's never forgotten either
I was at game 7. Something i'll never forget for sure. These are the core memories that your son will live with forever. That's awesome.
I judged Hunter Pence for his one year with the Rangers, but we snagged Pudge so it's a wash. Roy Oswalt on this Astros Team would've been special. I just miss his pitching. Works Fast, Blows Bubblegum, Extremely Confident on the Mound, Pitches the Corners. 4 Seam Fastball 95-97 mph, 2 Seam 94 - 95 mph Curveball 77 mph, Changeup 86 - 88, Slider 89 mph Whenever Voting Starts Roy Oswalt always wins by Fans Which Former Astro would you want on this Team? Roy Oswalt
Craig Biggio. He's my favorite Astro even though we would have to figure out where he would fit on the field. Also Nolan Ryan.
Stat I saw said 77 total players in MLB history have played for both teams. Epic LDS incoming. Please win, Stros.
https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/what-i-really-think.321121/ In response to @Wulaw Horn post..... The Captain Hindsight is truly an epidemic even outside of sports. It happens in real life too. @ac in austin sounds similar to Ms Carroll on Astros postgame call-in shows. Positive, positive, positive. Then, if positive doesn't happen, deflect then talk about next season will be better. Dude barely posts in the Astros forum, but conveniently after things look promising, here he comes to say "I told you so" sentiment. p***y will always behave as p***y when it's convenient. When it's not convenient, they're silent and hoping masculinity saves them.
