They will be home and fired up. Texans will bounce back and win this week. Carr is very mediocre

NFL is unpredictable week to week for most part

Texans stomp the Steelers who just beat the same Ravens team that beat down Texans weeks ago

Carr may throw for 300+, but I feel Stroud will match that and out duel the vet

Still too early. New players, injuries, scheme - still trying to find what their identity is. These things take time and 5 weeks is hardly enough to gauge in my opinion. From Shultz, Woods, and Meco, the running game is close to breaking out so, for now, I will take their word for it. It has to get better and I am sure it will. Time will tell.

This was such a classic Texans loss lol, there wasn't a doubt in my mind Ridder would easily go the entire field for the field goal with less than 2 min remaining.

Played way too conservative throughout the game, should have easily won this smh. Need to get away from the "play not to lose" mindset.

Way too Conservative! It was like being time warped into BOB's offensive plan.

I hope you're right because for the first four weeks everyone said it was because of the o line C.J is setting records behind that was to blame for the anemic running game, I guess now the players need to have picnic and talk about their feelings and that will spark the breakout in production from the mediocre, unimaginative running back room. IMO Pierce isn't that guy but let's see how the rest of the season goes.

Against Lamar, one of the better qbs, Texans made him uncomfortable.

Against Spicoli, Texans made him and the receivers uncomfortable.

Against the Steelers, a qb on Ridder's level, Texans made him and his receivers very uncomfortable.

But they struggled with HOF Ridder
    Why was that?

    Certain factors.
Due to Harris' absence and Perryman's return, To'o To'o had to move to the outside. He is at his best as the mlb.
Harris/To'o To'o/ Cashman is the trio you want.

The injury to Diesel also set the defense back. He stepped up as our most physical CB.They were punishing the Steelers' TEs.
Shaq should be good to go if he was a game time decision last week. Christian is going to be out of the concussion protocol.

All that and the defense still made plays to give the ball back to the offense.

I did create a pre-official game thread in the past.
