    My question is:
Was Russia, Saudia Arabia, or Iran behind this?
Hamas is not acting alone here.

    Take this guy out.

    Flatten Gaza.

    Enough is enough.

Also, it's disgusting and repulsive that Germany and Europe has allowed scum like @Exiled in who are openly celebrating the Hamas terrorists.

I suspect the Israelis will in fact re-enter Gaza for the first time since the disengagement. But there is some planning and mobilization required to make this happen. Gaza is basically the most densely populated piece of land on the planet. It is not a place that Israel can casually enter without risking major losses. Also, Hezbollah is sitting on the other side of the Northern border so they have to also prepare to protect that side as well.

I think some thought and calculation is required going forward. The settlers on the eastern side consume an inordinate amount of time, money and effort on the part the government and the IDF. Defending the part of Israel within the 1967 lines became a bit of an afterthought. Its clear that Israel has to rethink its priorities. Israel used to have a long tradition of politicians that came from the military and intelligence communities so security was always properly prioritized and managed. But the modern ultra right coalition doesn't really include former IDF/Mossad/Shin Bet leaders anymore. Hell the Haredi parts of the coalition have never even served in the IDF and have no appreciation for the risks and costs of military service.

Anyway, all of that is for another day. Israel has to regain control of its territories and quickly figure out a plan to end Hamas for good. I am hopeful that the center left parties join the government which will give enough political cover for thoughtful and responsible policy. The sad reality is that all of the people with actual military and intelligence expertise are in the opposition so Netanyahu desperately needs them to join and help run the show.

live free or die, longevity has little meaning for Palestinians. With the global looming economic depression, everyone will suffer, even that atw H1B idiot here, he will be deported back to North Korea to feast on worms and dog meat (once again)

Well I guess we know where Biden's $6B gift to Iran just went. This is 100% Biden's fault - he has blood on his hands.

Doesn't matter, even if it wasn't. They know it's coming. They've got the US weapons from Biden's botched Afghanistan exit. They know Biden is weak and senile. They know about Biden's conflicts with Bibi. It's their chance, and they've taken it. This is the result of Biden's actions.

Germany are champions at empty virtue signaling.

Stop funding Palestinian terrorists, congratulating Iranian dictators, paying criminal smugglers of humans to facilitate mass immigration of Israel-hating Islamists who celebrate murders of Israelis on German streets, where Jews were murdered.

That would be worth more than hollow lighting of the Brandenburg gate.
