Diaz has 2.1 war in 376 ABs, Maldy has -1.2 war in 404 ABs. It really is a sight to behold, especially since diaz is a better defender
It's not just that Diaz doesn't start he doesn't even play him. In Dusty's pathetic pee brain way of thinking he's going to need Diaz at some point in the playoffs (should be every game but we know that isn't going to happen but I digress) and when he does Diaz will have gone a LONG time getting any AB.
Watch the bad speed this month man. He’s hitting lasers he’s hitting it hard and all over the place. None of that existed earlier in the year. There’s no way it’s not physical. Now, he doesn’t strike out a lot and he hits the ball on the ground a fair bit so watch out for GIDP. Also/ I’d hit him 8th in a sensible lineup where we played our best players. Altuve/Yordan/Bregman/tucker/Diaz/Chas/Brantley/Abreu/Peña.
