Hired a weak, timid, Silas to steer this ship and young troubled player. What type of judgment decision making is that coming from your rookie GM?

It was a joke but I wouldn't mind Patrick being the interim GM if it means Stone is fired. Fertitta can use this season to figure out what type of GM the team needs going forward.

He's a Fertitta, of course he is. The Feritta's are part of the problem but unfortunately they're not going anywhere any time soon so the Rockets are stuck with them

I have been in situations where the son of a billionaire is provided an education, trained within the family business, then given a position of power. Unfortunately it just is not enough experience, no transition or amount of training will be enough which is scary for the team. CEO, president of basketball Ops makes more sense than a quantitative role that requires years of negotiating experience. Patrick does not have the education and he definitely does not have the required experience for this role. Gaining experience somewhere that your father does not own the company is crucial, because you are forced to actually grind.
