He's been a cancer every step along his journey. They took a chance on his skill set despite his behavior and antics both on and off the court. After not only fighting with coaches on each team back to HS days, he did with Lucas. The one dude who was there for him. Rox were the ONLY team to take a chance on him after his BS in CLE, he went on to burn them multiple times on and off the court. No GM is falling for that ish anymore. Burnt that bridge. Note: Will female fan bases support him ever again??? No. He is done.

Considering Miles Bridges just lost a season I can only imagine the penalty for KPJ who badly injured a WNBA player. I would assume his NBA career is likely over after he serves jail time. At this point Stone just needs to take the easiest path to extract the organization from this contract
Maybe next time the Rockets GM will listen to the one guy in the organization that actually has had experience with people like KPJ -----> John Lucas, who told the organization to be careful and then exposed that KPJ was still a jackass after it was covered up.
I do suspect some heavier mental issues like mild schizophrenia and he should be on medication. Where he can be extremely polite and extremely violent other times. No need for apology, you just saw his good manners.
Within the next 24 hours, if possible. No reason to look anymore weaselly than they already do. Definitely no reason to carry this situation into training camp. Rip off the band-aid and get him out of here ASAP so we can start camp with as clean of a slate as possible.

Bro - he doesn't think HE messed up his life, I guarantee you that he thinks SHE ruined his life by pissing him off. The guy is a sociopath. He has learned that all he has to do is parrot bullshit counseling points and he will have his behavior excused. The guy was a nightmare to the Rockets employees, some of his teammates, people in general and his girlfriend. KPJ sucks lmao. Played in the league half a decade and never had close to an efficient season or a positive assist/turnover ratio. He was a big contributing factor to having the worst record in the league multiple seasons as our starting “point guard”. Anyone with common sense knows you can’t win with his style or attitude. He quit on the team and people here said it was no big deal LOL. He’s trash. He had no trade value whatsoever even before this incident. He did the rockets a favor in allowing them to void his mistake of a contract. Just cut him. It’s not a big deal at all he sucks. Won’t miss him at all. Finally he’s off my team.
The thing is, if the folks who correctly read kpj as the pos he is had gotten their way, maybe hes not even in position to be dating this girl and thus never gets the chance to beat up on her. Maybe if the Rockets had cut bait hed have really grasped the fact that his actions have serious consequences. Instead they further enabled him with a measly one game suspension and let him continue to run the team. Whats sad is that it took someone getting seriously hurt by this ticking time bomb for him to finally be held accountable. THATS the tragedy.
