Yeah, somehow with such a sprawling case and 19 defendants, I shook my head a little at that one, too.

 

I think that's simply a reply to the one guy who put a motion into have a speedy trial and I think it had to be before sometime in Nov so she had to reply....not sure why he wants a trial that fast but trumps new mouthpiece already said they want to be excluded from that

Important footnote:

-This is just in reference to Cheesboro's request for a "speedy trial"
-This would just hypothetically be if the judge allowed a trial for Cheeseboro separated out of the other 19.
-There will be motions, after motions after motions that push this out. There has not even been an initial pre-trial arraignment hearing.

This isn't going to trial in October. This is only a movement by 3 of the 21 parties agreeing to "A Speedy Trial" in theory. there are 18 other parties that are attached to this case that'll flood the judge with motions.

However, if for some reason the Judge does allow Cheeseboro to be segmented off, and tried first by himself, IF... Fani Willis gets a conviction of Cheeseboro that fast while the other indicted individuals go to trial... it'll send shockwaves because it'll be nearly impossible for the other 18 to see a chance in hell in winning their trials.
