    Why throw him a hittable pitch right now. He is one of the few real threats right now, especially against Mariner pitching.

    Yanier is a good hitter but if he doesn’t figure out the strike zone, I could see next season being horrendous for him if other pitchers realize you don’t have to throw him a strike.
