yeah but in fairness, OkC is the most stacked roster for young talent in the league. I think he’ll catch on somewhere else.

I don’t understand why okc didn’t just trade him for the first round pick that the Rockets were supposed to get for him? What horrible asset management.

and thats why i usually prefer to trade draft capital for known commodities... Rudy Gay for Battier... put together a poopoo platter and try to get somebody who has at least proven himself to be serviceable in this league... Late pix got rookie scale contracts - but they're projects, taking up roster spots, needing minutes and development...

that draft pick loses value the minute you drive it off the lot...

i know i know... its like playing the lotto or having a handful of scratch offs...

yeh... i dont play that either... lol ;)

I think they are more mature and further along in their rebuild, but I wouldn’t trade our roster for theirs. We will surpass them next year unless they get real lucky in next years draft.

Not sure why OKC didn't contact @Derp McFlopsky to see if he could put together a package for TyTy

    PLEASE BRING TYTY BACK!!!!!!!!

Man I was mad when they dumped him for nothing.

KJ ? Meh, he didn't want to be hear. Plus, Whitmore does everything he can do +++++++

Garuba ? KInda hoped we could mold him into a super defensive specialist but didn't lose any sleep over him.

TyTy. . . Man, that one burned me up. He's a 6'4" PG that has a beautiful floater and 10x the poise with the ball than KPJ. He just needs time under a real coach who actually runs plays like Udoka. I want him running the second unit in 3 years when VanVleet is gone.

Stone. Get that guy back. He needs a second chance.

Always said I was irked that out of the folks traded, garuba was the one that stings the most. Guess thunders agrees and is rolling with the man for next season.

Hope tyty bounce back, he was never really given a chance

Guess you should probably wait till thunders less than 19 players on their roster

A chance somewhere else to be a 3rd string PG??

I can see a team offering him a non-guaranteed deal for training camp - but he has to outwork someone to make a roster. Nice of the Thunder to give him the chance to catch on somewhere

I wouldn't consider a player averaging 12.9 mins regular rotation mins.

Averages 12th most mins on the team.

So ya he didn't get enough playing time.

Nix played less games than the man and almost have more mins.

No, he played the 8th most total minutes on the team.

Unless you're arguing the Rockets had a 7 man rotation, I'm going to say the guy who played over 70 games, played 10 or 20 + minutes for 50+ of them, and played more minutes than half the league was given a fair shot.

But, go ahead and keep pretending like he's the one that got away

Face must be saved at all costs - that was a left twix on his pants

This kind of thing happens to players drafted behind franchise players like Daishen Nix.
