    The Maldy love is insane. He’s a complete zero on offense and his defensive prowess has wained to a 5/10. Diaz has demonstrated he too can call a great game and if Maldy is such an intangible leader then let him be a player coach from the bench. We had no problem relegating Castro to that position so let’s do it with Maldy . He should be catching max 1 game a week

    Yeah the women loved Bill Doran. I got to hear that first hand at a game once when I was prolly 11 or so. Group of ladies behind my Dad and I were going on and on about how good he looked in his uniform. My Dad laughed but was kinda embarrassed too. It was pretty hilarious.

    It really depends on one's reference point, but I see Maldy as much worse than zero. In a WAR framework, he's basically a negative about as big as Alvarez is a positive on offense.
