The media won’t show Black people attack Asian people in New York or California
It breaks the woke media narrative that black people can’t be racist. Since the media is headquartered in those two states, they don’t want to show how extremely segregated it is.

I've had white people tell me to go back to my country (along with various racial slurs) or try to intimidate me by swerving their car at me on the road while I'm walking on the edge of the street (no sidewalk).

I've had black people call me yao ming on a public court.

You tell me which one I should be afraid of.

 

the latter sounds like a compliment.

 

I remember once some black guys calling me "Yao Ming" while playing pick up ball. I pointed out that Yao Ming is 7'-5" and I'm 5'-7".

On the main topic yes there a disturbing amount of attacks on Asians and many of these have been from black males. In many of these incidences they appear to be suffering from mental illness. I brought this up in the Alabama brawl thread but I don't believe this is part of a movement on the part of Black Americans targetting Asian Americans. There has been a history of tension between black americans and Asian Americans with it culminating in seige of Koreatown during the Rodney King riots. Many of the most recent attacks where there is a reason appear to be from COVID paranoia.

While many of the recent attacks on Asian Americans have been from blacks it certainly isn't limited to blacks. There have been attacks including mass shootings of Asians by Hispanic and white individuals with a lot of the rhetoric blaming Chinese and by extension all Asians for COVID coming from White Americans.

there’s a deeper question on why it happens in these cities than people saying but it happens in other states .

That Asian family saying hey I support Black Lives Matter why are you attacking us? They live in Vegas

black people don't attack asians in small towns. it's an urban phenomena.

 

Many of the attacks are on people who aren’t ethnic Chinese. In Minnesota there were attacks on Hmong. It’s has to do with that many can’t tell the difference or don’t care.
