    I think he's the perfect guy to lead this team. Stone made the right choice. Underdog, works hard, smart & tough. The team needed toughness more than anything

    He would be wasted with Silas, but I think Udoka is the right coach for this young group and FVV is the right point guard. The pieces have to fit. I think these do. We'll find out.

    Agreed but after thinking about it, I think Stone actually had a good plan of bringing in Lopez along with FVV and Brooks. Those three defensive anchors and their pedigree would have definetly got the Rockets into playoff contention this next year. Real shame he wasn't signed but Landale just might turn out to be a nice consolation prize, especially if Lopez ends up getting injured.

    Stone's plan was brilliant, he was betting on one of our young players to make a leap to all star. FVV, Brooks and Brooks with a couple of young stars is playoff bound. The Rockets are way ahead of schedule, I think they are going to be very good next year. It will come down to how much growth we see from Green and Sengun thou.... This Rockets team is going to be fun to watch.

    I think (hope) we’ll all end up really liking him, even the initial sceptics like myself.

    If nothing else, he’s a smart point guard who plays hard on D, and having a guy who is actually experienced at playing point on the NBA level running the show should be good for the youngins
