This right here. Not a lot of vision from the midfield to set up the attack, and minimal movement. Even when there is, the precision between players is not there to take advantage of opportunities.

The defense pressure and the patience is nice to see in order to dictate the game. But the Netherlands goal and the Portugal should-have-been goal were basically on counters. Have to keep it up. Naeher has also been better against set pieces by being aggressive on the ball.

    Best game of the tourney.

Yet a VAR on the last penalty.

The team vets didnt come through. What a cruel way to end your career.

Woke up in time to watch penalties. Not a great display of PKs.

She is supposed to be the next national team star. Had lots of goals in qualifying but wasn't sharp in the last 3 matches. Biggest issue is that she is more finisher than servicer, which is same for Morgan. Kind of asked her to do more than she was ready for. Even Williams and Redman are more finishers.

Yeah sure. The vets still let the team down and lost it for the younger players. Again it's also a cruel way to end your career.

Rapinoe obviously shouldn't have been playing as much and she looked very old. The PK miss was an awful coda to her career.

As far as ratings go, I think Fox knew they were going to take an L on this World Cup. There aren't huge audiences for a tournament with 3 AM kickoffs. They care about 2026 here.

Very smart by that Rapinoe person - now they get to spend more time complaining how they're not paid enough.

Woke up to this. This is a pretty big upset but every dynasty comes to an end.
    Congrats Sweden.

Glad they lost, and glad Megan Rapinoe blew it. Nice finale for her career.

Of course you are. You’re an elderly white conservative. You have to fall in line with your foxnews brethren. Thanks for posting

So with this poor performance, the USWNT are getting less pay now, right? Personal opinion on the wage gap aside, I just like to enjoy the schadenfreude.
