    This dude doesn't need to be a writer....... so yesterday the Astros and Mets almost had a deal...... then three hours ago it all cooled off..... then 5 minutes ago the Astros deal is almost complete.

    It doesn't work that way in a few hour time frame unless one side really really wanted the deal all along.

    JV would be a monster on this team in 2024 just like 2022.

    With Javier and Brown further along in development and able to work closer to 175+ innings and McCullers and Garcia back healthy the rotation will be deep and good.

    I'm calling it now - McCullers 2024 comeback player of the year.
