I hope that Chas, Jake, and Tuck are the OF for both games. That's a huge OF. Besides, Jake had a big HR Sunday and can build on that if not on the bench. Ideally Diaz catches both games and Julks DHs I am just hopeful that Diaz catches at least 1 and DHs the other. Diaz in Colorado will be fun to watch.
Hope the organization forces Dusty's hand soon. Pitchers have more success throwing to Diaz and he hits better when he catches. Teams have no fear running on Maldy and too many pitches "pass" him. He's basically a walking corpse on the field. The offense has been hitting on all cylinders. Tucker has been on fire for month, Chas is balling, Bregman had his first 4-hit game of the season, and Abreu woke from his coma. We need to keep slugging and get some easy wins to allow the gassed high leverage guys get rest. Maybe the lower guys don't cough it up again.
Assuming Maldy is catching, maybe he won't poorly frame as many strikes because they will have less movement.
Jake Bird is the TBD starter tonight. He won't be in the game long, and I have no idea if they're using him as an opener for somebody or if it's a straight bullpen game.
