Last night Bob Kemp said on 610 that there were reports of Griffin being lazy and selfish. There wasn't much to the report, just that quick little tidbit. These weren't Kemp's opinions, it just seemed like he was passing it along...even though he did chuckle at it as if it was no surprise. I'm assuming this is coming from his play in the summer games, otherwise why would they say anything about it? Here's a question for Darkhorse, Moe, and any others that have seen the games: Is Griffin's play lazy and/or selfish? The last thing we need is another player like Cato, although his play is more lazy than selfish. From what I've read it seems like he's been playing fairly well, without problems. I just figure that this is more bashing just because he's a Rocket, similar to what has been said about Steve. ------------------ Who needs teachers? I can learn my own self.

I have not see EG play, but the boxscores of the summer games do not indicate a "selfish" player. He would have more shot attempts and a lower field goal percentage if he were selfish. ------------------

I watched many Seton Hall games last season, on TV and in person at the meadowlands. Eddie Griffin gets the "lazy and selfish" ;abel because he is the type of player who never shows any emotion and keeps to himself. He is FAR from lazy. If you remember correctly, another underclassman came out early, his stock dropped because of the same label and now look at him....Lamar Odom!!! As far as keeping to himself in concerned, I couldnt think of a more tight-knit team for a quiet guy to go to!!! ------------------ I'm off like a prom dress!!!
