So no super cap space? Over the years I would like to think I've become very knowledgeable about NBA cap maneuvering. I don't have the slightest f**king clue what's going on now.

FWIW, I do like the add. Veteran backup PG who can shoot and has plenty of experience on winning teams.

If we keep him anyhow. Like I said, no damn clue where this stands right now.

I'm so confused with some of these trades the Rockets are doing. No Mills, and we traded more younger players

In any case, maybe Stone is still trying to finesse something in this trade. There seem to be a lot of moving parts (and, so far, not much to get excited about on our end).

 

This had to have been Patrick getting the chance to work his own deal.

It’s actually worse than that. They first SPENT $6m in caproom to get Mills, and then traded 5 second rounders to dump the $11m (Mills, Garuba, TyTy)

 

And people keep making excuses for Stone. Absolute horrific asset management.
