I’m guessing (and hoping) Ime has decided to give Sengun a chance to show what he can do playing 30-35 minutes per game

 

If we don't make any more moves, I don't actually mind a C rotation of Sengun and Landale.

They'll give us very different looks offensively, one a crafty passing post maestro and the other a bruiser that can set a solid pick and pop out to hit 3s.

Just a pity that neither can protect the hoop.

Good passer, good bbiq, makes himself available for passes, effectively uses his size and has some skill around the rim.

How is his defense? His highlight seem like he is a guy that knows how to get open and is great at grabbing rebounds. Can he also defend the rim? I don’t mind this signing at all - worst thing about it is, that we probably won’t get a big solution for backup center. Maybe we don’t need it. I am high on Sengun and Jabari can play some C as well. He seems like the kind of Asik deal, but cheaper and less experienced.

I finally see the plan. So instead of winning 20 games we are going to be winning 30. I would love to be proven wrong but without a doubt Stone should be fired if this was the culmination of all of their stupid planning. FVV, Brooks, trade all of the young guys for nothing, and sign this guy and bring in washed up Mills. With all that we have squandered you might as well go back to the Harden trade and keep the tank commanding team together and just not squander the assets. We signed guys not because of talent but because of age. I was actually excited about the Harden trade because of what it could bring and now this is the harbinger of another wasted decade of this failed organization. Watch in desperation mode they will package the picks and trade for a loser to compliment this group.
