Absolutely, but they've yet to be given a shot and failed to show much at this level. Jury's still completely out on them. All the guys we cut loose had a chance to force the team to keep them around. Only KJM came close, and I see him only getting spot for the Clippers.

Last year was a wasted year other than winning Amen and Cam but it was a wasted year to develop players like Christopher.

 

All the more reason for them to shine. And they didn't. Hey, some of these guys might go on to make a rotation, but none are going to do much more. We didn't give up potentially great players today.

 

You laugh, but if the Rockets keep Boban's $2M cap hold on the books (reducing our cap room by said $2M), they could later use their full Bird rights to sign Boban to as much as a max contract!

I think KJ, JC, Garuba are definitely good rotational pieces down the road. I am not so sure about TT.
