    They only "have to" in order to get their part of other teams paying luxury tax.

    Very likely Tillman realized that the 30 million in savings is worth more than whatever his part of the league-wide tax bill is.

    The money doesn’t work… right? So there has to be more? Garuda and TyTy are roughly $5M in annual salary. Alpha Kaba is $0 in salary.

    My guess: we move from 24 to 29 M in cap space, to be distributed between signing Brooks, and a trade with Tate and KMJ leaving, and receiving Capela

    I would preach patience on this one.

    We don't need tax relief or roster spots, so a "dump" just doesn't make sense.

    This was clearly made with another move in mind.

    Perhaps we are taking Bam and sending the Nets picks to Portland?
