I don’t understand Dusty. Why didn’t he keep Neris in to start the bottom of the 8th. He only face one player in the seventh. I hopes this his last year as Stros manager.
I wonder how many more runs we could've scored if you replaced Madris with Dubon or Chas.....multiple times he struck out with men on base. Dumb **** like that will come back to bite you in the ass.
That was brutal. Worse than the balk call was the home plate ump in the 8th. He took away two outs from the Astros and then squeezed Astros pitching. When it rains, it pours. They seem to invent a new and more demoralizing way to lose every other game. That Altuve AB was egregious. Hopefully *that* was rock bottom.

Neris isn’t used to sitting down and going back out. It was the right call. All Abreu had to do was not turn into a complete unmitigated disaster. He failed. If Dusty can’t depend on his former ace reliever to not give up 3+ runs we’re screwed anyways.
Pena so many golden opportunities to extend that lead...swung away like a little leaguer...he must've signed a deal with the devil for that playoff hot streak...we haven't any semblence of that Pena this season at all. Zero improvement from last season.
Thats 2 games I can think of that we hit a grand slam to take the lead and then the bullpen gave it right back.
