I like that we moved Gordon and got a guy with the same kind of physical strength and driving ability but 3" taller.
I liked last year when when we brought in Tari how everyone was wondering what that meant for Martin and Silas ended up playing them together and they became a little unit that was very effective in transition and defense. Eason / Martin / Whitmore if they could get them to be a crew would be awesome to watch. Crew2 Porter - 6-5 Whitmore - 6-7 Martin - 6-7 Eason - 6-8 Garuba - 6-8
Miles bridges without the off court issues has been thrown around and he was one of the more underrated guys in the nba and about to get a bag
I liked the comp of Corey Maggette with upside potential on his jump shot. Maggette couldn’t stay healthy (which isn’t uncommon for the kind of explosion) — I have similar concerns for Whitmore who seemed to have some nagging college injuries too — but he was a difference maker when he was. The other one who came to mind weirdly for me was Corliss Williamson. Corliss had no jumper, but similar big bodied mismatch at the 3 with athleticism and power.
Not exactly the same, but Tari's stock also dropped last year because he wasn't as "engaging" in interviews as some other guys in that range, or couldn't articulate how he read plays or something of that nature. But he was a better player than others around that range, and I'd take his instincts and ability to be in the right place over some guy who can analyze film well any day. Cam just has "it" when it comes to offensive upside and natural ability. I think his tunnel-vision was more due to a lack of trust (Nova seemed like an awful fit). If Udoka and the team can win him over, I bet he fits in very well, and lives up to his original Top-5 ranking.

Any chance Cam sees regular rotation minutes this season? I’m guessing a full season in the Valley is likely.
Cam was measured at 6’5.75 barefoot at the NBA combine a month ago You guys have the internet what is wrong with you
Guess depends on how one conceptualize the names of sports teams as a singular unit or plural. Apparently Brits conceptualize them as the plural players that compose them. "... Most publications that use American English apply a logical approach to refer to groups with such names by using singular verbs and pronouns, but most written in British English, apparently valuing consistency over logic, use plural forms. Whether the verb form for generic references is singular or plural — “The band is back on the road again” or “The band are back on the road again” — is, likewise, usually a matter of preference based on the variety of English employed."
