I agree with others in signing Fred Van Vleet and Brook Lopez as your two main FA acquisitions. Have a loooong sit-down talk with KPJ and explain to him that there’s still a place for him on this team but it will be as the 6th man and backup shooting guard. If he is willing to accept this role, you can have a starting 5 of Van Vleet, Green, Smith, Lopez and Sengun. Then you have KPJ, Amen, Whitmore, and Eason as your main 2nd unit guys.

I don’t know if they should get rid of Tate and Martin but they should definitely release Nix and should have done that yesterday.

I agree with those two pick ups. FVV I guess might be around 3 yr/90 mil and Lopez might be 3 yr/ 50-60 mil? I think the Bucks can offer Lopez up to 3yr / 54 mil but who knows if they are willing to.

Whatever we pay it will be a premium to get any kind of talent to come here.

Same for me. Sign FVV and Lopez and look to consolidate the young guys and picks for a disgruntled star. KPJ, KMJ, Tate, Garuba, Jaygup, TyTy all likely need to be moved. I’d target LaVine.

    FVV/Amen
    Green/vet FA
    LaVine/Whitmore
    Smith/Eason
    Lopez/Sengun

If they sign Lopez, Sengun is headed to the bench, you can't have both of them out there at the same time and Lopez isn't signing up come off the bench.

Cam is a stash. He should be playing in the G-league this year. I want Amen learning directly behind a veteran point guard. I want KPJ off the ball. This is Jalen’s make or break year; he needs a good veteran pg next to him. I have a lot of confidence in Jabari and Tari. As others have acknowledged, we need to pair Sengun with a defensive stopper. Other than that we need to sign some shooters.

    FA:
    point guard
    Defensive center
    Shooters

trade: picks, KJ, Garuba, Christopher, TyTy and Tate.

We are on our way, but Stone has to move off some of these guys before free agency starts.

As it stands right now, our bona fide rotational pieces are:

    Sengun
    Green
    Jabari
    Eason
    KPJ
    KJM
    Amen

We have $62m to spend in free agency. Let’s say that breaks down like this:

    FVV - 3/$90m
    Lopez - 3/$60m
    Niang - 3/$15m

We would then have a 10 player rotation without trading anyone and all of the assets we had coming into the offseason are still intact. We have players on reasonable contracts that we can use to pull off a superstar trade if it comes along. But, mostly, I hope our guys develop into that.

My depth chart would look like:

    FVV/Amen
    Green/KPJ
    KJM/Tari
    Jabari/Niang
    Sengun/Lopez

    Tate, Cam, Garuba, JC, Tyty

KMJ needs more respect, he's played well when given time. He should at least be B and Tate should go C

I don’t want him if that is true. I think he might be willing to come off the bench, if not f*ck him. I’d go after horford if that was the case. All we really need is a backup center (which we may already have with Jabari or Garuba). i

Why would he be willing to sign for a team that would have him come off the bench when that team isn't even a playoff contender?

IMO he'd sign elsewhere if not promised a starting role.

I think TyTy just needs a little time to adjust to the speed of the NBA as most players do. Watch him next year, I think he's going to progress nicely.

FVV sucks, I hope we don’t chase a guy worse than what we already have in KP J.

    39% FG is a joke.

I agree with you that Lopez would not come to sit on the bench but I think he and Sengun can be on the floor at the same time. It doesn’t matter who plays the 4 and who plays the 5; I would venture that they would both see time there. I would rather have Jabari at the 3 although he could play the 4 spot as well.
