    Trade Amen + Tate/Kenyon Martin/Nix x Siakim or OG
    or Mikal Bridges
    (during free agency)

Sign Naz Reid and Seth Curry

    Clean house.

6 core players from the past 3 drafts.
The question is how many vets do we sign. If it's 3 then that only leaves one available position for anyone outside of that 6. I don't see any minutes for Nix, Tate, KMJ or Garuba. But Garuba could fill a 12th man role.

If I had to pick one to be the 10th man based on talent only it's KPJ. If KPJ is out then I would keep Ty Ty and Christopher as our 10th and 11th players.

Defense, shooting and maturity are what we need from our free agents. Since we are not competing for championships yet I'm ok with FVV for the short term.

    FVV/Thompson/Ty Ty
    Green/Christopher
    G Williams/Whitmore
    Bari/Tari/Garuba
    Sengun/Lopez/Garuba

Still need defensive length and more shooting, but this works for me in the short term.

If Stone can find a better option through trade than FVV I'm all for it. Williams knows Ime's system and can be somewhat of a mentor despite his youth. What Lopez brings is obvious. Maybe replace Christopher with KPJ if he is willing to accept his new role as the 6th 7th or 8th man.

FVV and Brook will be perfect complements to this group and worth the overpay imo. Tate will certainly have to go as will KJ as well unfortunately. I would see which teams are looking to dump a salary with a future pick attached and explore those opportunities.

The Hawks have a mandate to cut salary. Dejounte Murray will make much more in free agency than the Hawks can extend him for, so they apparently drafted his replacement last night and are likely looking to trade him before losing him for nothing.

I'd offer KPJ, Garuba, KJM and maybe a future first for Murray and Capela. Hawks cut salary while getting a serviceable return. The Rockets can get a look at Murray for a year and the two sides can re-evaluate next summer. It wouldn't be as big a blow to us if he walks for nothing. It also won't be as difficult for us to re-sign him as it will be for the Hawks.

Very good assessment. I'm thinking the same way. However, TyTy is not a good shooter. We need a 3pt shooter at the SF or backup G spots and a Center who can play defense.

Those slots were already calculated. Since we didn’t make any trades, it should be the same… ~$62m

    I agree with you.

This current player we have is still a lottery team.
We need to trade our young guys for a proven vet or star!
This is a very difficult situation for Udoka and Stone since the player available in the market is not that good! It will be a waste to used the 60M cap we have.

Feels less like a free agent and more like a liquidation of young talent in trading for an established star. A Green, Jabari or Sengun main piece along with KPJ, KJ Martin, Eason and picks for one of these Paul George, Dame, KAT, Ayton (less for Ayton) type of guys. Not saying that is what I would do but it just feels that way. There is a crunch where these guys will not get the chance to develop.

This is the way. But need to keep KPJ as 6th man otherwise that second team offense would be painful to watch in half court (very fun in transition though).

Then within next year trade for Mikal Bridges for Cam and Brooklyn 1sts.

    Sign for Seth curry
Trade for Lowry and Duncan Robinson
    Sign Brook lopez
Sign Pat Bev if no Lowry
If market bad for Dillon Brook get him cheap
    Resign Boban just for it

I dont know if I really wanted Amen rookie pg to start the year but , best to let him grow

    Amen
    Green
    Jabari
    Sengun
    Lopez

    Porter jr
    Eason
    Whitmore
    Curry
    Duncan Robinson
    Lowry or Bev
    Brooks
And then one other cheap vet center

Personally think we should try and package a combo of players and picks for any all-star level player available, maybe Paul George? Then try and sign FVV or Harden and Brook Lopez to 2-3 year deals. The only ones who should be untouchable are the Sinister Six (Green, Sengun, Smith, Eason, Thompson, Whitmore)

I agree with others in signing Fred Van Vleet and Brook Lopez as your two main FA acquisitions. Have a loooong sit-down talk with KPJ and explain to him that there’s still a place for him on this team but it will be as the 6th man and backup shooting guard. If he is willing to accept this role, you can have a starting 5 of Van Vleet, Green, Smith, Lopez and Sengun. Then you have KPJ, Amen, Whitmore, and Eason as your main 2nd unit guys.

I don’t know if they should get rid of Tate and Martin but they should definitely release Nix and should have done that yesterday.
