    Weird to me how Orlando took Howard over Dick. Isn't Dick like better in every way? Also doesn't have the laziness issue.

    I had assumed the Rockets were trying to move up to 10 to take Whitmore. If so, they should be ecstatic now.

    But maybe they had another target in mind?

    We have cap space to take on worthless salaries. We could have moved up the way OKC did (and Dallas* later) by taking garbage contracts. Luckily, Stone didn’t panic and got his guys while preserving all cap space.

    *While I thought Dallas’ maneuvering was good, I was really under the impression they needed to turn #10 into a win now player. The picks were fine, but do they move the needle at all for the coming season? And the salary savings is minimal. Not sure why everyone is so enamored with their draft.

    A look back at the draft biggest winners imo were SAS, Rox, and surprisingly GSW, Mavs and Lakers.

    GSW got 2 guys I really like BP, and TJD at the 57th pick or something ridiculous. I wish Rox traded Kmart Jr and got him instead TJD is like the 6'9 version of Kmart if Kmart was a good defender.

    Lakers got depth outta nowhere Schifino and Lewis are lotto level talents imo they will Def surprise a lot of people. If Lakers retain Rui suddenly they have a decent core trio for the future.

    Mavs are the mvp team of the draft imo they just finessed everybody they got rid of Davis Bertans' horrible contract, upgraded to Richaun Holmes for center and somehow added Lively 2 and Prosper. They even cut salary thru all that I mean wtf.

    Lively got overrated on this board and got too much helium on draft day, I'm leaning toward him being closer to Jaxson Hayes than JJJ. I don't believe in the shooting. Not too worried about the Mavs.
