    Yeah, because teams with players shooting nothing but step back 3's are really successful. Amen does not need to be Curry, Amen needs a mid range shot and he is a two way star....

    I don’t think there was a scenario in which this team wasn’t going to be in the lottery next season… teams don’t go from historically bad to the playoffs in one offseason.

    And don’t we keep our pick if it’s top 4?

    we still have FA tho…

    Lol at the extreme takes here. He is the 4th pick. You are not getting sure fire star here. You either take a player with a high floor and low ceiling, or a player with a high celing and a low floor here.

    Amen clearly has the heighest ceiling of all the players available. A 6-7 PG with a 7ft wingspan who is an elite athlete, while also being a great passer and pretty good defender. Yeah his shot is bad - especially his form. But he still shot 30% from NBA three point range in the playoffs.

    He won‘t be taking many jump shots on our team. The question is, what will his presence do to the defense. Will it destroy spacing? Can he still go by his man with his athleticism, if his man is playing way of? And if another player has the ball, will his defender just camp in the paint? This will be on Ime to figure out. I expect a lot of screens and movement on and off the ball. It will be really interesting to watch.

    We put ourselves in a pickle. Amen looks good, good size, handles, speed...

    No jumpshot, that's a problem.

    We're going to have a tough time competing this year unless some disgruntled superstars start falling out mid-season.

    All that cap-space and no takers.

    I hope this kid comes ready to take over the team. By all means, the Rockets need it. Nice to see Walker go just now. He’s going to be a good NBA player
