Imagine how much of a inferiority complex big brother Troy must be growing.

 

Green, Jabari and Amen have all been touted as hard working guys who want to improve and have been pushed since they were kids.

Let them grow and let’s see what we get.

Idk about that… Lavar got two of his boys taken in the top 3 and both have proven to be legit NBA players. Sure he’s loud but he got them where they needed to be, jury is still out on the Thompson’s.

 

I’m going to take the positive route and believe that the coaches will get his shot from terrible to not so great.

Only 2 PGs I enjoyed watching that were putrid shooters to begin with, Jason Kidd and Penny. Amen better be the third one.

I also understand Marcus Smart's value to the celtics and he couldn't shoot worth a lick.

A few got offended with the Simmons comparisons but Simmons was all nba until he couldn't go up for a dunk with an open lane to the basket. That's more being a mental midget than anything else. Amen seems to have a good head on his shoulders no merman male model aspirations.

Say an Amen and give him a shot, just not more than from 4ft away. =)

I’m with it. Those shooting coaching we hired are gonna make this work. He doesn’t need to turn into Steph Curry. Just improve even a little bit and the rest of his game makes him deadly.

 

I meant how he carries himself publically mostly, obviously don't know them as fathers lol

Not if he can't shoot. The Ben Simmons prototypes don't work in today's game. You must be able to shoot.

Not my choice, hope it works out. Rockets need a sharpshooter desperately, Amen is not the one. Too many bricklayers. Maybe they can bring in a vet that can address the poor team shooting.

 

Yep especially since he won’t be expected to shoot. I’m sure we will get the best out of his strengths and shooting right now is not one of them. If he can just drive and dish to the open man that’s all we need.

 

1. Figure out his spots. Where is he a bit more accurate from off the dribble and catch and shoot as well.

2. Eliminate or don’t take bad shots.

3. Work on being consistent with form. Touch should improve if the form is consistent.

4. Play D.
