I dont think he goes back, and hinting that the dynasty would be over assumes a reunion is unlikely. I could see them letting wiggins and draymond walk while trading klay. Resign Poole and commit to a retool/rebuild around some youth.
They are already locked into Poole so don’t need to re-sign. He is the one they are trying to trade the most. I would facilitate a dumping of Klay at one year 43m, or would trade for Wiggins who is still signed at 24m for 4 years.
I think he does. I see GS giving it another 1 Or 2 year run. Then they proceed to fully move onto the next stages of the next era of GS
I think the writing was on the wall that its over as soon as bob myers stepped down. Add to that the comments kerr made saying" we lose draymond we dont compete" or whatever the exact quote was.
Don’t see it. We’ll find out soon enough. It wouldn’t take long to hear of a new deal for DG once free agency begins in less than 2 weeks. If it stalls for a while we know both sides arent on the same page and he’s really looking at other teams. On his weekly podcast he hasn’t given no indication he prefers to be somewhere else
'I won you two championships and you gave the bag to Poole.' I think that sticks with Draymond. That's the punch. If he goes against that punch, he's the b**** in that scenario. Draymond is no b****. He left before the season started. His play was mirroring the front office's loyalty. There's no way for Golden State to take the high road on their money moves. He may not be a Rocket, but if he stays in GS, he's lost his manhood based on the whole story. He's gotta leave and leave them wishing they resigned him before he left havoc. As Hulk Hogan said, "Anything less would be uncivilized."
Draymond just doesnt work here. If he would takd 30 million per for 2 years to babysit and teach, I would pay it though.
