They aren’t trading back for Jarace Walker. Whitmore, Thompson (or in the highly unlikely event one of SH/BM drop)
I’m not sure about the small ransom. Probably depends on who we’re trading with. Historically speaking, it takes a future 1st to move up a few spots at the top of the draft. I think there still has to be someone available at #4 that a team really likes. All options should be on the table.
when every team is trying to move up, it becomes more lucrative to trade back. demand is high, supply is low.
I definitely want to hook up with ORL. I'd like to land 6 & 11. That said, I agree there's an overlay on Suggs. Someone's going to steal him.
I'd imagine if they traded back they would target Orlando and likely still end up with a Thompson twin. Given that Detroit and Orlando both are pretty set at the 1 (Detroit moreso, to be fair), it's possible that picks 4 and 5 go Cam/Ausar in some order, with an outside chance of Hendricks or Walker sneaking in. That would leave us still ending up with Amen. Or, if Orlando does take Amen, it's possible we'd get Ausar. That would, however, give us the 11th pick to play with, so do with that what you will.
there's a reason why teams want to move up because the top 3 prospects are worth it rather than being stuck with mostly everyone else
They are still talked about by 99% of the teams in the lotto. I see lots of good players but not great ones outside the Top 5.
